A superhit heroinedown South, Asin Thottumkal
is a talented actress with sizzling hot looks. The 26-year old actress
hails from Kochi and holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
Her name means ‘pure and without sin’, and she can speak Malayalam,
Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, French and English.
Asin made her debut as a supporting actress in Malayalam film ‘Narendran Makan Jayakanthan’ in 2001. Her 2003 Telugu film ‘Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi’ fetched her Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress. This film was also remade in Tamil, and became a huge success again. She was also awarded the Santosham Best Actress Award for her role in Telugu film ‘Shivamani’.
